No Transformation, No Problem: Blokees Wheels ‘Wreck'N Rule’ Wave Delivers Pure Energy and Excitement
by Mike Stencel
If you thought Transformers collecting couldn’t get any more creative, Blokees is here to prove otherwise. Fresh off the show floor at Toy Fair 2026, Blokees Transformers Wheels C02 “Wreck'N Rule” Wave carves out a unique place in the Transformers Universe, one that blends together model kit-style assembly, blind box collecting, and display-ready vehicle modes.

Let’s first address the Cybertronian elephant in the room: these vehicles don’t transform. Instead, Blokees focuses entirely on vehicle modes, giving fans the chance to assemble highly detailed versions of their favorite Transformers alt-forms. Think Hot Wheels-style scale vehicles combined with model kit-style assembly, along with Transformers deep cut characters all rolled into one. Each blind box includes a mystery vehicle kit and a collector card with the detailed instructions on the back. But the real hook is that you don’t just collect them - you assemble them.
Blokees believes in its philosophy that “the power of assembling fuels creativity,” and it shows. These kits are completely tool-free, using snap-fit pieces that come together in about 5-10 minutes. The most satisfying part of the process is easily the wheel and tire assembly, where snapping the tires onto the axles and locking in the chassis gives you that instant sense of progress. Once completed, the vehicles roll smoothly, adding just enough play value to complement their display appeal. The only downside is that the instructions on the back of the collector card are quite small, which may make it more difficult and time-consuming for younger kids (and even older fans) to assemble the vehicles correctly.
One of the standout features of the line is the inclusion of die-cast metal bodies, which gives each vehicle a noticeable weight and a more premium, collector-grade feel. Once complete, they don’t just look good, they feel like a true hybrid between an assembled model and a sturdy display piece.
This wave also stands out for its strong connection to the IDW Transformers comic storyline. Rather than relying on the usual mainstream characters (Optimus Prime, Megatron, Bumblebee, etc.), Blokees dives into unique storytelling and deeper cuts that longtime fans will immediately recognize. The theme for this wave focuses on the Wreckers, the Autobots’ elite strike force, who are sent on the most dangerous, high-risk missions that no one else can handle including Springer, Roadbuster, IronFist, and Scoop. There are even additional chase variants of Springer and Roadbuster to find and collect. My personal favorite is the Red, White, and Blue deco version of Roadbuster that comes with a tiny driver to assemble and place inside each of the vehicles. For a final touch, fan-favorite Cosmos, the G1 Autobot, who appears in his sleek UFO mode, conveniently comes with a Wreckers hammer accessory to display with many of the vehicles. The lineup also includes Huffer, Pipes, Breakdown, Runamuck, Shattered Glass Sideswipe, and Overlord, in both tank and jet forms, offering a refreshing mix of fan favorites and lesser-seen characters. You can even combine Overlord’s two alt-modes to form two different unified vehicles. In total, the wave features 12 unique vehicles to collect, along with the added thrill of four chase variants, creating a strong incentive for collectors to keep opening boxes.
One of the most appreciated details in the wave comes with Pipes, who includes a “smashed” alternate body that directly references the infamous IDW moment where Overlord brutally crushes him. It’s a deep-cut nod that rewards longtime readers and shows just how committed Blokees is to honoring the source material.
At roughly 1:64 scale, these vehicles fit perfectly alongside Hot Wheels or Matchbox cars, making them easy to display or incorporate into existing collections. Despite their small size, they feature crisp paint applications, character-accurate colors, and intricate molded details, all enhanced by the added realism of die-cast construction. When displayed together, they create a cohesive and visually impressive Transformers vehicle lineup. The blind box format only adds to the appeal. With 12 vehicles and four chase variants in circulation, each purchase offers a combination of surprise and intrigue as collectors will undoubtedly want to feed their addiction by completing the set.
As stated before, Blokees believes that the power of assembling can inspire endless creation and is dedicated to producing detailed assembly character toys and collectibles for all age groups. Working with major toy franchises like Transformers, Jurassic World, Naruto, and EVA, Blokees aims to help fans assemble their favorite characters in the most authentic way, delivering imaginative, high-quality products to fans and collectors around the world. It may not be for those looking for traditional transforming figures, but for fans of model kits and die-cast vehicles, this line absolutely "wrecks.”
